In AutoCAD Architecture 2017, you can create both open and closed buildings by inserting an additional level of detail (LOD) into your model. For this example, I will make a small building with two floors – the first being exterior walls only and the second-floor interior walls and windows.

Design Parametric Stairs
It provides parametric stairs to make designing a set of stairs more efficient. AutoCAD Architecture offers two types of stairs, flat steps, and curved steps. The difference between these two is the spacing in which they are laid out: Flat Steps use even spaces while Curved Stairs have uneven spacing.
Each stair consists of three pieces that comprise its width: Baseboard (bottom), Stringer (middle), and Riser (top). These parts can be manipulated size-wise by changing their scale percentage or length respectively within AutoCAD’s Parameter Manager window.
The baseboard has railings attached to it at the ends outside each stringer’s first riser, meaning there will be support for parametric stairs. So now you can quickly create custom stairways without using complex combinations or shapes and also control the number of steps and their size with one parameter.
